Product Description
The MAXTRAX Shackle Shield serves as a protective cover that slips over soft shackles, offering additional protection against abrasion and sharp recovery points, extending the life of soft shackles, and increasing safety.
Current independent recovery points and those integrated into bullbars are often manufactured with a 90-degree edge, which is not recommended for use with soft shackles as it can damage the rope fibers during recovery.
The MAXTRAX Shackle Shield is compatible with any soft shackle brand on the market and can be retrofitted to soft shackle ropes up to 14mm in diameter (excluding woven covers).
The MAXTRAX Shackle Shield eliminates the need for metal bow shackles in many vehicle recovery situations, offering a lighter, metal-free vehicle recovery solution. Made from a thermoplastic polyurethane that is flexible yet stable to protect the soft shackle's fibers.

With its unique U-shaped design, the MAXTRAX Shackle Shield is engineered to reduce contraction at tight radii under load, protecting the soft shackle rope fibers and potentially extending the soft shackle's lifespan.
